A mixture of Class Brahms & Class Haydn have been doing woodwork for the last 10 weeks. Our teacher is Mr. Molloy. Our first project was a wooden bowl. First we had to hollow out the wood with a gouge. Then we had to sand the inside to make it nice and smooth. Then we used the ban saw to cut off the edges and make it round. After that, we had to rasp the bottom, to create a curve and make it sit nice. After that, there was more sanding. Then, everybody got to put a personal touch on the bowl, we used burners to draw on a design and make it personal. Everybody brought theirs home and they are using them now for practical things!

In our last class we sketched houses and design our own dream house and it was great fun!

We hope the other groups have as much fun as we did in woodwork!!!
