Maths Week 2012
This week, from the 15th-19th of October has been Maths Weeks all over the country.
Students all over our school have been throwing themselves into various activities.
The 1st years had a poster competitions where their art skills were put to the test. This resulted in stunning artwork being displayed everywhere.
What has this got to do with TY though, we hear you ask? Well our maths classes were asked to help with creating interesting, fun questions for the 1st year table quiz.
Some of our questions ranged from:
What number jersey does Steven Gerrard wear for Liverpool?
How many P's in a barrell of apples?
How many classrooms are there in the A Building?
Finally, we leave you with a riddle:
What happens once in a year, twice in a week but never in a day?
