On Monday 10th December, 6 TY students went down to the Athlone Town Centre to meet Michael McDonnell, President of Athlone Lions Club. The Students dresses up as different Wizard of Oz characters, with the Lion as the main feature. The idea of this was to attract people over to the collection box for non-perishable food and toys. There was good interest in the appeal, and the box will be beside the information desk in Athlone Town Centre.

The TY Students will be dressing up again from Friday 14th December to Friday 21st.
