On Wednesday 5th December, Maura Difficy – food advisor with Bord Bia visited the Transition Year students and carried out a food and nutrition presentation in the Home Economics room. A number of recipes from the
Bord Bia booklet were demonstrated including chilli jam, Mexican beef, omelettes, pork cooked with rosemary and garlic and a number of healthy salads.
Transition Year students sampled the dishes and will endeavour to recreate the recipes at home.
