Time to Shine!

On Tuesday 16th April 2013, the Athlone Leo Club held a meeting, which was filmed by an American Film Crew who are travelling the world. They were from McGrath Communications in Chicago. They came at 9am and filmed the meeting, and then all the members came together to sing a song which was recorded. The footage taken will be edited and put together to be shown at the Lions Club International Conference in Hamburg, Germany in July 2013. Three students, Emma Connolly, Niamh Walsh & Daniel Flynn were interviewed about their thoughts on the Leo Club and the issue of Bullying. There was also other filming done outside the school of some students with peace signs, saying peace in both English and Irish. Everybody enjoyed the experience and some people saw their time to shine!
